In November 2020, the Connect Executive Team requested nominations to find the Top 20 Under 40 professionals in the Norfolk area. The team was seeking a way to identify and showcase area leaders whose influence, achievements, and dedication have proven to go above and beyond the status quo within the community.

The executive team received numerous nominations. Each nomination included the story behind the professional. After thorough review, the team chose 20 nominees who set the standard for community involvement, accomplishments, and leadership within their workplace or organization.
